    • Accredited by COLA

      COLA accredits almost 8,000 medical laboratories and provides the clinical laboratory with a program of education, consultation, and accreditation. The organization is an independent, non-profit accreditor whose education program and standards enable clinical laboratories and staff to meet U.S. CLIA and other regulatory requirements. Select Specialty Hospital of Augusta is the first Select facility in the nation to receive this accreditation.

      Select Specialty of Augusta is licensed and fully compliant within the State of Georgia. The state conducts regular on-site surveys to assure health, safety, sanitation, fire and quality of care requirements and to identify deficiencies which may affect state licensure or eligibility for federal reimbursements under the Medicare program.

    • Medicare Certified

      Select Specialty Hospital of Augusta is fully compliant and meets all Federal Medicare standards and certifications. Medicare is a federal insurance program providing a wide range of benefits for specific periods of time through providers and suppliers participating in the program. The Social Security Act mandates that providers and suppliers participating in the Medicare programs meet health and safety standards.
